Prof. Ozcan SARITAS

Professor Ozcan Saritas, Ph.D., is the Director of Future Foresight at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in Dubai, UAE. He holds the title of Honorary Professor at the Manchester Institute of Innovation Research (MIoIR), The University of Manchester. Furthermore, Professor Saritas is the Editor-in-chief of "Foresight," the journal futures studies, strategic thinking, and policy. With a doctoral degree from the Foresight and Prospective Studies Program at Manchester Business School, Professor Saritas has gained international recognition in Foresight and Futures Studies, Innovation, and Strategy. His expertise extends across a broad spectrum of qualitative and quantitative approaches, such as horizon scanning, scenario planning, strategic roadmapping, big data analytics, and utilizing collective human-artificial intelligence (CHAI) for Foresight. Professor Saritas collaborates with prominent international organizations, including the United Nations (UNIDO, UNCTAD, UNDP), the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the World Bank, and the European Commission. He is advising national governments as well as leading corporations in the development of their long-term innovation policies and strategies.
